American Airlines Flight Attendant Uses Awesome Pilot Powers To Help Land Plane
It’s good to have outside interests. For instance, there’s this 61-year-old flight attendant who works for American Airlines who also happens to have a commercial pilot’s license, which was good news for the pilot–and the 225 passengers–after his first officer went all Airplane! on him mid-flight.
According to CNN, the first officer began to display “flulike” symptoms during the flight from San Francisco to Chicago, forcing the pilot to ask passengers the one they they probably never want to hear during a flight: do any of them have a pilot’s license?
Fortunately the flight attendant did; she says the first thing she asked was, “Where are the brakes?”
