If You Buy It, They Will Come
Looking for a farm with a ballpark on it? Look no more! The family that owns the Field of Dreams cornfield ballpark has decided to sell. The asking price? $5.4 million.
From the AP:
“It’s really time for us to head to the locker room. Maybe that sounds corny. I don’t care,” Becky Lansing told The Associated Press. “We really would just love to become spectators. We want to sit in the bleachers. We want to look forward to all that the ‘Field of Dreams’ will become in the future.”
The property is located in eastern Iowa. For your money you shall receive a baseball diamond, a two-bedroom house, six outbuildings that include a concession stand, and a 193-acre parcel that includes the haunted cornfields where Shoeless Joe allegedly wanders around.
Any takers?
