Get Ready To Pay For Your New York Times In 2011

New York Times Executive Editor Bill Keller announced that the paper will be charging for access to its articles early next year.

They already outlined the plan, which calls for metered access for non-subscribers.

Like many media competitors, the company’s flagship New York Times has been hit by sharp drops in print advertising revenue both as a result of the economic downturn and a continuing migration of readers — and advertisers — to the Internet.
