Sell Better On Craigslist
If you have a digital camera and a computer, you can make some quick cash by turning your unwanted possessions into cold hard cash on Craigslist. But what makes a good Craigslist listing? How do you make your ad stand out?
Single Guy Money has a few tips that, while seemingly obvious, you’d be surprised how many people forget. Just look through Craigslist and you’ll see! Be sure to clean your item up first, take a clear picture in good light (pictures are a must! many shoppers will not look at listings at all that don’t have pictures), and to provide a detailed description including the item’s condition. And price! “Make an offer” is not going to get you many emails. If you’re uncertain about how to price it, do an internet search for similar items in similar condition to get a good idea.
Have you used Craigslist to offload some stuff? What did you do to try to make it sell better? Were you successful? Sound off in the comments.
