Domino's Driver Attacked With 2-Liter Soda Bottle
Perhaps combining the old school tactics of the McDonald’s broken bottle robber with the economy of the Walmart crowbar burglar, a Domino’s driver in Maryland was recently felled by crooks brandishing a 2-liter bottle of soda.
According to police, the Domino’s delivery guy was dropping off some pizza at a Hagerstown, MD, apartment complex at 8:48pm on Sunday night when he was approached by at least one assailant, who proceeded to bop the poor driver on the head with the aforementioned 2-liter.
It is not yet known if the attacker provided his own carbonated weapon or took one off the driver, who was not seriously injured in the incident.
This is just the latest in Domino’s-related robberies.
Earlier this month, a delivery guy in North Carolina was attacked and then his boss had the temerity to tell him to repay the $61 lost in the mugging.
And in February, a Domino’s driver in Georgia was robbed of $36 worth of the pizza chain’s wings.
