Allegiant Refunds Vegas Traveler For Hotel Bumping
Blogger Krystalatwork complained she was bumped from Harrah’s on a Vegas trip and had to stay at Flamingo, then was promised a refund that was slow in coming.
She expected a refund from Harrah’s, which told her the refund was supposed to come from travel agency Allegiant. And Allegiant said she had to go to Harrah’s. Now Allegiant stepped up and processed Krystalatwork’s refund. She blogs:
Well. I got a call from Allegiant’s Las Vegas Customer Relations Manager today. He said that they have gone ahead and processed a refund to my credit card of $127.68 US. I originally estimated that the refund would be about $125 US, and I was pretty much spot on.
Despite the hassle at the beginning over the refund, I’m very pleased with the customer service I’ve gotten from Allegiant. Which I’m happy about. If they had made it difficult, I would have refused to fly with them again out of principle. And that’s a shame, because they really are by far the cheapest option to Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Phoenix, etc. So thanks, Allegiant. You’re the greatest.
Krystalatwork’s blog is called Give Me Back My Five Bucks, but her perseverance netted her more than 25 times that amount.
Thanks for the Refund, Allegiant! [Give Me Back My Five Bucks]
