Burger King here has free Wifi. Smelling like coffee from ganking internet at a cafe is one thing; who wants to smell like Burger King?

I think this was a lesson learned from the McD’s offering free WiFi in Montreal (and also styling their restaurant to be more Starbucks-y for hanging out).

if i didn’t have wifi already in my house (which i purposely dont encript it so others can use it for free) i’d have no problem setting up shop in a mc donalds or somewhere else to game online on my psp.

Some of the McDonalds locations in Buffalo have free wifi, too. Mostly the ones they’ve remodeled in recent years to include the fireplace and other “upscale” details.

If it’ll be true EVERYWHERE, then it’s actually great when you’re traveling in your car, because it gives you a Wifi spot just off every highway exit for an urgent email or skype call.

It’d be nice if they brought this to the US, but I’m still not eating there.

They already offer free WiFi in the majority of stores that are safe to sit inside long enough to use a WiFi device.

We have free wi-fi in the McDs that are in the “business” areas of the city.

I thought McDonald’s here already offered wi-fi as part of a program involving Nintendo DS. You were supposed to be able to go into any McDonald’s and immediately link up to friends elsewhere in the world.
