Have You Immolated A Ford Dealership Lately?

Feeling overcharged by thousands on his car financing, George decided to park his complaint right on the dealership’s front desk. Literally. Then he lit the dealership ablaze with the fire of his consumer anguish. Literally. Then he literally went to jail.

With the crap that car dealers put us through, does this really suprise anyone? Car dealers are as honest as a politician in election season.

Perhaps there is market for former / honest car dealers to assist buyers with deals and help clean up the profession?

I just remembered something my driving teacher told me, Just remember a car is a very deadly weapon when used incorrectly….

    Temporary insanity!!!

Maybe this will show Ford what happens when you piss off the wrong person by overcharging them?

I feel bad for the dealership, but if he really was overcharged, it was only a matter of time before one of their victims snapped.

Didn’t the guy who set his car on fire commit suicide after all of this went down?

It’s fun and all to see someone torching a dealership, but what about the other customers of the dealership? Is this going to cause future customers who are stupid enough to purchase a vehicle there to have to pay more to cover rising insurance costs?

I have a felling after this story makes it around town, they’re probably not going to have to worry about customers going in that place…

According to The Comedian, we’ve seen this on Consumerist before. Between the duplicate posts and spelling and grammar problems, Consumerist is becoming the new Slashdot.

Is this guy related to the dude who tried to do this at a women’s health care clinic in Iowa?

Is there a reason the car bursts into flames? It didn’t seem to high-impact crash to cause some sort of explosion….Made “Ford tough” my ass…
