Joanna Debunks Her 43 Things Not To Do At McDonald’s
A Digg user claims to have gotten in contact with Joanna via her Myspace (before it was made private) and had a conversation with her about her poor attitude. She says it was all just a lark:
it is a joke. it was meant for JUST mcdonalds employees who could relate..not actually for customers to read..
Dylan pointed out how the story had swept around the internet, hitting Fark and Digg and innumerable blogs and message boards. He suggested some sort of retraction if she wanted to preserve her job security. Joanna responded:
lmao damage control? why bother? i really dont care ..how you figure im doing damage control? you’re one person .. idk what fark . com is or any of those other sites.. i aint post them there so thats on whoever did it ;]
Ouch, Drew Curtis is going to be so pissed. Full convo inside.

Either way it ended up on the frontpage of Fark.com with the headline “A McDonald’s employee has some McRules for you” It has 428 comments about it, the story is reposted on so many differnet blog sites all across the internet and I can’t even remember how many times I’ve come across this story in the past hour. So doing damage control now? Are you going to lose your job or anything?

Just searched for it and it’s on Digg.com with 20 diggs ( basically how many people vote for your story ) you may want to put online a blog or somethign a retraction and make sure it gets out that it was a joke, because honestly if it gets on the frontpage of digg.com you are likely to lose quit a bit. Digg has millions of viewers everyday and everytime theres a story about somehting illegal on there or something similar to this theres always a followup story the next week about somehting happening.
