Yahaya Wahab claims he canceled his father’s service with Telekom Malaysia after his death in January and closed the account for 84-ringgit (U.S. $23)

“If the company wants to seek legal action as mentioned in the letter, I’m ready to face it,” Yahaya said. “In fact, I can’t wait to face it.”

Telekom Malaysia Bhd. is the country’s largest teleco. A company official is said to be aware of the issue and is addressing it, with no further details forthcoming.
