Someone Cutting You In The Chick-Fil-A Drive-Thru Line Is No Reason To Shoot At Their Car

When did the humble fast food drive-thru morph from a quick way to pick up some grub to the hot spot for bad consumer activity? In the latest case of inappropriate drive-thru behavior, police in Florida say a customer was so mad at the driver of another car that cut in front of him that he opened fire on the vehicle.

It all went down before 9:30 a.m., when police say the victim was stuck behind another car in the drive-thru lane that wasn’t moving. So he or she simply drove around the other vehicle to order food, which apparently really ticked off the suspect, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office writes on its Facebook page (via First Coast News).

The suspect was apparently accompanied by a driver, as that car pulled up to the victim’s vehicle and a man jumped out of the passenger side, cursing and brandishing a gun. According to police, he fired one shot at the victim’s vehicle and ran off. The woman driving the suspect’s car then sped off after him.

When police arrived on the scene, they found a bullet in the driver’s side rear window and a spent casing on the ground. No one was hurt in the incident and police are still looking for the suspect.

Keep your cool, everyone. Let’s take back the drive-thru and make it a safe place again for everyone, eh?
