Women Sue Plastic Surgeon For Posting Nude Pics
According to lawsuits filed by five women, a St. Louis plastic surgeon violated their privacy, advertising his skills by posting naked pictures of them on his site.
The Courthouse News Service reports the women, all represented by the same lawyer, filed their lawsuits separately and anonymously. The women say they allowed the office to shoot their bodies before and after surgery for the “limited and sole purpose of rendering medical treatment and administrations” and were told that their identities wouldn’t be linked to the pictures. The suits claim that the surgeon labeled the pictures with the patients’ full names.
The suits allege that the photos caused the women pain, including “shame, humiliation, embarrassment, anxiety, nervousness and loss of sleep.”
The surgeon didn’t respond to the Riverfront Times.
