Do Not Pretend Your Waitress's Bosom Is A Credit Card Reader
Just in case you were wondering, it’s not cool to paw at a waitress and slide a credit card in her bra. Such actions are what a Washington Redskins lineman stands accused of, according to court papers filed Wednesday.
The AP reports the player was offered a plea deal, but his lawyer says he won’t accept it and his client plans on fighting charges of simple assault and misdemeanor sexual abuse. Both charges carry penalties of up to six months in jail and $1,000 fines.
According to the story citing the documents, the incident happened at a birthday party the player attended. When a waitress approached him with her hands full, he began the credit card move and asked if it was OK to do so. One witness said she agreed to let him place her card in her bra, but asked him to take his hand off her after he touched her. The card was ultimately declined.
The player said he didn’t touch the waitress.
