This year’s WCIA Final Four kicks off with a rematch of the closest fight from last year’s tournament.
In 2010, Ticketmaster ultimately bested Bank of America in their Final Four bout by the slimmest of margins, less than 1% of the vote. That fight left Ticketmaster so bloody it really didn’t stand a chance against Comcast in the final deathmatch.
After a year of punching sides of beef, chasing chickens and foreclosing on the wrong people, Bank of America is expected to put up a more tenacious defense in the WCIA octagon. So far, the beastly bank has managed to mangle Citi, dismantle DirecTV and wipe the floor with Walmart.
Meanwhile, Ticketmaster doesn’t seem to have lost a step as it’s plowed through the brackets en route to the Final Four. PayPal and Sony were charged a fatal fee by the master of tickets. Chase put up the best fight but could do nothing to stop the Ticketmaster train.
Both companies have proven themselves to be worthy of competing for the title, but only one will get the chance — Who will it be?
This poll is now closed. Congratulations to BofA for making it to the finals!
