Worst Company In America Round One: Bank Of America Vs. Citi

Consumerist’s 6th Annual Worst Company In America tournament tips off today with this battle of beastly bankers!

In the red, white and blue corner is Bank of America, aka The Foreclosure Kid. This heavyweight brawler from North Carolina has been a fixture in the WCIA ring since acquiring Countrywide. Does the Kid have what it takes to reclaim the crown from Comcast?

To do so, BofA will have to do with The Manhattan Mauler, Citigroup. Some say this citi slicker is too genteel to fight with the big boys but the bank has been bulking up recently, making sure everyone can see your social security number, and firing sexy bankers. But will it be enough?

This poll is now closed. Congratulations to Bank of America!
