Consumerist In AOL Wikipedia Entry
Look ma, we’re in Wikipedia.
We know, right, BFD anyone can edit Wikipedia. Well, we didn’t do it and someone took it upon themselves to make the addition. We think that’s pretty neat.
Now of course, someone is going to click edit and delete the entry and then write in the comments, “and now you’re out.” They will be clever and hyperlink now.
That’s okay, because someone will put it back. Now you’re just a bit player in enacting a metaphor for AOL’s fallacy, their belief that they could fight the aggregate force of thousands upon thousands of disgruntled customers and employees.
The hive owns.
