Everyone Gets A Free Taco From Taco Bell On Nov. 2
Whether you were weeping with joy or sadness after the Cleveland Indians beat the Chicago Cubs in Game 1 of the World Series last night, know this: there is a free taco waiting for you a week from now, if you choose to accept it.
Taco Bell’s “Steal a Base, Steal a Taco” promotion was triggered last night when Cleveland’s shortstop Francisco Lindor stole second base in the bottom of the first inning, with first baseman Mike Napoli up to bat.
That means that participating Taco Bell restaurants will hand out one free Doritos Locos taco to any guest on Wednesday, Nov. 2, between the hours of 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. local time. So you’re either getting a late lunch, an afternoon snack, or an early dinner. DTL not your thing? A Taco Bell representative confirmed to Consumerist that consumers can choose one of any other kind of taco.
