If you’re one of the travelers planning a trip to Cuba now that direct flights and cruises will be available and you’re a T-Mobile customer, you’ll be able to roam inexpensively on the island. In addition, T-Mobile customers in the United States will also get to make cheaper calls to Cuba, costing $.60 per minute with an international calling plan.

The company shared an interesting statistic along with this news, which is that 36.6% of wireless customers in the U.S. who were born in Cuba use T-Mobile. The company’s national market share was 17% in 2015, showing that apparently the company is popular with Cuban immigrants, or with immigrants in general.

Cheaper calls to Cuba were apparently a common request from customers, and that’s why T-Mobile made a roaming deal so soon. “We have more customers of Cuban descent than any other wireless provider – so connecting them with family and friends in Cuba is a message we heard loud and clear!” CEO John Legere said in a statement about the Cuba program.

T-Mobile say that the new pricing for roaming and calls to Cuba as sometime this summer, but hasn’t set a specific date yet. If their Cuba rates match the rest of their international roaming rates in countries where the company has agreements, texts and data will be free, and calls will cost $.20 per minute.

While T-Mobile has added Cuba to its international roaming plans, Andorra remains conspicuously absent. #WhatAboutAndorra forever!
