IKEA Wants You To Make A Baby Today, Offering Free Cribs To Kids Born 9 Months From Now

Today is a day of love, affection, chocolates, roses, cards and a bunch of other romantic whatnot. But for folks in parts of Australia whose Valentine’s Day fun results in offspring, IKEA is offering up free furniture.

In the above ad, posted on Reddit, IKEA says that babies born exactly nine months from now (Nov. 14, 2013) will receive a free Sniglar crib from the retailer. (Offer only good in South Australia and Western Australia, per the fine print).

Of course, delivery is not always nine months from the day of conception, so the kids who will score the free furniture could have been conceived within a few weeks of Valentine’s, which some may say is not really fair to the parents-to-be who are spending tonight together in the hopes of earning a free crib in the fall.

This is the point of the story where I mention that I and my two siblings have birthdays all around the 9-months-from-now date and let you draw your own conclusions.
