Woman's Cell Phone Blocks Bullet From Hitting Her
With all the news and studies out there about how your cell phone might be hurting your health, it’s rare to read a story where a phone actually stops an injury in its tracks. A Colorado woman was saved from a bullet when it hit the cell phone in her pocket instead of her leg.
Local news KKTV in southern Colorado says the woman, who was caught in the middle of a potential drive-by shooting, is totally unharmed after the incident. Police responded to a neighborhood where shots had been reported and found the woman.
She says she was standing outside her apartment building when her phone was struck by the bullet. Police found shell casings around the apartment complex and said they had reports of 10 shots being fired.
