2 boxes, each containing 7-12 Maverick Royal Riviera Pears. Net Weight: 10 lbs

So, figure 20 pears for $30. $3.00 a pound. A buck and a half each for pears is a good deal? I don’t care if they melt in your mouth and are gold plated.

( I grow my own pears at home. Just sayin’)

They are pretty awesome pears and per pound this deal is on par with what I see in produce markets for high end pears. Personally there’s too much of a carbon footprint, packaging etc. for me to buy for myself but I’d enjoy it if someone sent me some.

And Harry & David customer service has always been good from my experience. Some relatives used to send them to my family and on the few occasions fruit was not very good they sent new without any hassle.
