Sorry Your Flight Was Diverted, But Have Some Pizza
When a Southwest flight from Fort Lauderdale to Denver was diverted last week, stranding passengers in Pueblo, Colo. for a couple hours, the pilot ordered pizza for all the passengers. True, it was Little Caesar’s, but it’s the thought that counts, right?
TheDenverChannel reports:
“It’s not uncommon for our employees to take the extra step to take care of our customers,” said Chris Mainz, spokesman for Southwest Airlines.
Mainz confirmed the crew ordered pizza and had it delivered to the aircraft.
“We do reward and encourage our employees to do something on their own,” said Mainz.
Has an airline ever done anything nice for you on an unplanned layover?
