"Without A Trace," Other Shows, Gone Without A Trace
Some bad news if you love the show Without a Trace. Not only do you have poor taste in entertainment, but there will be a gaping hole in your life come September when your drama, which has given up the ghost, will only be viewable via seance like other departed shows such as Alf, Cop Rock, and Grounded for Life.
The L.A. Times’ Showtracker blog says the show is toast, as are The Unit and The Eleventh Hour, which the blog claims are indeed genuine TV programs, even though no one-including their own writers and actors-has ever heard of them.
The blog also outlines the fates for other CBS series:
In addition to word that CBS may pick up a new season of “Medium” — NBC canceled it; producers were not thrilled — sources say the network will also renew “Cold Case,” “Numb3rs,” “Gary Unmarried,” “Rules of Engagement” and “The New Adventures of Old Christine.”
They join previously renewed scripted series “The Big Bang Theory” and “Two and a Half Men.” “How I Met Your Mother” also has been renewed.
At least CBS isn’t moving Letterman to prime time.
