The REI coupon seems to be dead.

  2. jchabotte says:

The deal was listed on their site yesterday.. When checking out, it went to add shipping on it. Seems to be over.

Krispy Kreme pulls out of Houston, then runs Free Doughnut Day. (disgruntled)

  4. @jchabotte:
are you selecting “budget shipping”? (standard shipping is default and costs $8)

Use a new google checkout account to get $10 off making it $70 shipped w/applicable tax (damn NY state)

Figures that 2 weeks after I buy a 500GB external for $90 (From the morning deals), you guys post one for $80. Ah well, I still got a decent deal, and if jchabotte is right, the shipping would only make this ~$5 cheaper.

I wish I lived near a KK, but it seems unlikely as the franchise costs are astronomical!

I own the Harman Kardon AVR-146.

It is a very nice AVR for the price. However, be aware that the HDMI ports are PASS THROUGH only. They do not channel sound to the AVR’s speakers. For that you will need sound cables.

Also be aware that one HDMI port uses a fiber optic cable for sound while the other uses a Coaxial cable. You can buy a coaxial to fiber optic converter from as well as all your other cables. I know it has been said before but Monoprice is probably the best place to get cables at low prices…..
