Meh. Last week I bought a Razer Diamondback from for $19.95. It will probably be on sale week after next as well. You guys might want to add GoGamer’s weekly “48 Hour Madness” to your list of sites you look for bargains. The Diamondback is a great mouse though. Smoothest motion of any mouse I’ve ever used & being a professional drafter that is saying quite a bit.

Jeeze-a-freekin’-loo! Those leatherman tools are expensive!!!!!

    Sixty-four bucks???

I’ve never bought one, but have found three (two original leathermans & a gerber one).

@forgottenpassword: Every new Leatherman starts out quite pricey. It will drop.

Especially after people figure out that particular model is a trap for dirt and crap in all of its little holes. Sure, it looks neat on day 1, but after 2 months of minor use it will be a PITA to keep clean.

  4. @forgottenpassword: They are worth it though. They have a great warranty through the company, and they last forever. I lost mine in the snow one year, when everything melted, the leatherman was a bit rusted and beat up. I called up Leatherman, and because of their lifetime warranty, they replaced it (I didn’t tell them it was in a snowbank for 5 months, though).

I have the Leatherman Wave and it’s perfect. The locking blade, the rope cutter, and the pliers are awesome. I managed to snap one side of the needlenose tip off by my own screwups, and ended up liking the shorter nose and grinded off the other side to make stubby pilers.

The smooth sides make it much easier to grip the knives or saw properly. The old Leathermen had the sharp interior sides that were painful with a lot of usage.

The perfect car tool. I keep one in my toolboxes too, in case you have a need for them.

Like most multitools, the single-purpose screwdriver, knife, saw, pliers, etc will work better, but these are perfect for camping where you want lightweight.

And I bought 2 of the razer mice on woot. I can’t view gogamer at work due to the urlblocker, but it sounds like a decent website from what others have said.

  7. Another + for leathermen: they give you knives worth damn.

I’ve gone through many a micra and the blades have always been sharp from day one through day “damn I lost the thing again.”

I want a skeletool but know the same thing will happen in a week, so no sense throwing 60$ out the window.
