No Amount Of Money Could Convince Me To Go Down World’s Tallest Water Slide

Oh, hello, soon-to-be world’s tallest water slide at Schlitterbahn park in Kansas City. What’s that you say? You’re going to drop people from almost 140 feet up at speeds over 60 mph? No, no thank you. I’d rather keep my insides intact. [via Gizmodo]

there’s no safety cage on the front of that thing. i trust neither gravity nor inertia quite that much.

I agree completely. I don’t have a huge fear of heights, but I’m practical enough that it just doesn’t look safe. I’d never, ever go on something like that.

Simulating free fall? Just flap your arms on your way down and you might just take off.

I’m a huge chicken for heights but have been on some big water slides, but that one wouldn’t be on the list.

60mph water slide with recreational enema at the end. Who wouldn’t want to do that?

I love these tall water slides, and I have a huge fear of heights. I am putting this place on my planned (but as yet scheduled) nationwide tour of amusement parks.

What goes tic tic tic tic tic on the way up to the top?

    Your face.
