There’s Finally A Tablet Made Just For Women Because Those iThingies Are So Darn Confusing
Now that womenfolk have gotten a handle on that whole “writing with pretty pens” thing, it’s time we catch up with technology! But those iThingies, screen books and Galactic whaddyacallits are so confusing. Thank goodness the makers of the ePad Femme are here to save the day with a gender-specific tablet. Can you plug your sparkly pink ethernet cord into it, though?
Sarcasm goes a long way in talking about this product, as Ars Technica notes, underscoring my long held belief that someone needs to invent a sarcasm font.
The eight-inch tablet is designed and distributed by the Eurostar Group and comes with all the kinds of apps women dream of while barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen, making dinner for their husbands: yoga, grocery shopping, clothing size converters and of course, cooking.
Downloading is just a bunch of beeps, boops and bops anyway. With these preloaded apps, says a company rep, women can “just turn it on and log in to cooking recipes or yoga.” Or how about yoga cooking while planning how many babies to have?
Eurostar calls its ePad Femme “the first tablet specifically for ladies.” And if you’re not classy enough to be a lady, keep your dirty paws off it.
Finally, a tablet simple enough for a woman to use </sarcasm> [Ars Technica]
