I love Real Simple…what a great price. I’m definitely ordering.
Real Simple has a lot of DIY and organizational stuff, I know, but what’s the ratio between that kind of home stuff and cooking? I don’t care for home decor and home organization (I have a 700something sq. ft. apartment, and can’t redecorate all the time) but I like cooking, and since the demise of Gourmet, I’ve been looking for a new magazine to take its place (I think my subscription switched to Bon Appetit, though).
It has some good cooking info. That said, you can also get all the recipes online from their website. For $5 a year though, you really can’t go wrong, even if you end up not loving it. It’s less than the cost of buying 2 issues a year on the newsstand.
I love Real Simple, $5 is such a great deal.
I’ll only go to the Whataburger that Abe Vigoda works at. The one where those two idiots works always seems to have hijinks ensuing.
The Sceptre TV from Newegg DOES NOT have free shipping. $10 is the cheapest they offer.
And if you are patient you can get it for much less on Amazon:

That’s a monitor. The one on newegg is a TV.
Why don’t they make flat screen monitors for computers with built in speakers anymore? I got an “I-Inc” one off of tigerdirect for my office that advertised built in speakers. However, they project out the back of the monitor, directly at my office neighbor. Plus the thing doesn’t even have a headphone output.
I swear, built in front facing speakers in a monitor for a decent price is extremely hard to find.
Staples had a eMachines 21.5 w/speakers on sale Friday for $89.99
You’re better off getting stand-alone speakers, I’ve seen built-in speakers worth a damn unless they cost quite a bit.
