A new ad campaign in Brazil urges citizens to pee in the shower as a way to conserve water. “Xixi no banho” translates to “Pee in the bath.” I don’t speak Portugese or I’d give you a play-by-play on what is going on this largely inscrutable PSA.
Two points come to mind, though: If you also use your shower as a bathtub, do you lose eco-points for bleaching before bathtime? Second, why not just conserve your flushes? As they say in Canada: if it’s yellow, let it mellow. If it’s brown, flush it down.
