I like it. Its so hidden you need a giant blue hand to point at it.
@stopNgoBeau: Well it’s good to point it out, because at a quick glance some of those headlines look like advertisements.
@dragonfire81:
i like the giant blue hand. i knew it was a link to consumer reports, but this is a clever visual that says “i know you know…”and now when i look at the page that cerulean blue hand is imprinted in my brain…
sweet. I pay for the on-line and don’t have the mag. This will remind me to checkout whats going on at CR.
@YellowDucati: LMAO. Your snark-fu is much stronger than mine.
@YellowDucati: What’s with the Japanese flag?
So wait, where is the link to this located? Any chance you can make it blink?
Hmmn…Which script creates this so I can unblock it?
@el_smurfo: allow “typepad.com”.
@el_smurfo: you’re pretty safe whitelisting consumerist now, since they don’t have any of those crappy/ugly/blinking/moving gawker ads any longer
Wait a second, not sure I follow the article.. I CLICK the link, and then it just GOES there??
@quadrant6: That’s sheer insanity.
@Segador: That’s the Devil’s Sorcery at work, burn it!
Why is a giant, blue, pointy hand about to crush the lil’ ducklings?
i always wonder why consumerist and gawker still share a user database. do they still send over blog technology or will you and the consumers’ union be doing that yourselves?
@DaoKaioshin: sorry, that’s a bit off-topic, but its a blog modification and i’m wondering where it came from.
I’d say just be thankful things appear to be working fine (for the time being). One should expect to see a number of technical problems once Consumerist throws off the Gawker shackles.
@DaoKaioshin: I’m actually curious about this too. Whenever Gawker changes website formatting Consumerist changes as well.
If I change the password on my commenter account here, will it also change on the blogs that are still with Gawker Media?
@DaoKaioshin: Images are still on cache.gawker.com…
