I use PriceProtectr to do to a similar thing.
Change title to reflect it’s only at Amazon… it’s sorta misleading.
It doesn’t seem to be reporting prices accurately.
GhettoImp, what sort of problems have you had with the prices?
Greenpepper, I plan on adding some other ecommerce sites shortly – I only built this last week, so I’m still catching up on the feedback.
PriceProtectr looks awesome, but it solves a slightly different problem – the key feature (in my mind) with BuyLater is the Twitter integration, which means you can get notified on your cell phone, or by IM, when a hard-to-find item (like a Wii or a Kindle) becomes available.
Thanks for the feedback!
JoshuaMcKenty: Twitter integration is your key feature? You know that that only means something to about 0.01% of your potential audience, right?
I’d look into sending IM and SMS without depending on someone being subscribed to a niche service.
