No good deed goes unpunished.
A 17-year-old Philly fan ran onto the field and was tasered by police, says the Philadelphia Inquirer. A crowd of 44, 817 (or is that 816…?) watched as the fan ran out onto the field in the 8th inning and was tasered. This is apparently the first time such a thing has happened in Philly, though it has apparently also happened in Oakland.
Philly police say they are no longer going to waste time and resources responding to minor fender benders in which there are no injuries and the cars can be safely driven away.
Ah yes, the Philadelphia Airport. You’ll never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. A baggage handler has been charged with two counts of theft after a woman noticed that $550 worth of clothes (with the price tags still on) had mysteriously wandered out of her luggage.
