• Today’s Woot!: The HP Photosmart 2710 All-In-One printer/scanner/fax machine for $255, shipped. While you could certainly find an all-in-one unit for a little less mooney, the 2710 has built-in Wi-Fi, an LCD preview panel, and reviews pretty well. Plus it’s about $75 cheaper on Woot than we could find elsewhere; not bad.

• Today’s Woot! is the iRiver PMC-120, one of those 20GB Personal Media Center jobbies that Microsoft was shilling a little over a year ago. We say skip it, even at $205. Not only is it sort of huge compared to an iPod video or Creative Vision M, but the platform does all sorts of stupid things like forcing you to convert all your videos before copying them to the device.

• Dell Home is selling the Inspiron E1505 Dual Core Notebook for $699 (and you can usually find a $35 off coupon on eBay with little trouble). While it’s not much of a gaming machine, it’s a fine notebook for pretty much anything else at a very fair price. Our only suggested upgrade? A faster 7200RPM hard drive. [via SlickDeals]

More Free: Free iTunes Blog

Like we said earlier today, we absolutely love free. Complaints start when we start paying, when we enter a contract with a company and — time and time again, almost invariably — they forget about our contracts and start lumping us up in with the faceless aggregate. But there’s no lapsed service, no patronizing Customer Service exchanges when things are free — free is consumerist utopia.

Free Coffee At Starbucks Today

We don’t usually say this… but go to Starbucks today. Grit your teeth as an obsequious minimum-wage hipster expects you to know the distinction between cup sizes written in three different languages, all meaning “big”. Resist the temptation to screw your thumbs through said hipster’s eye sockets. Because at least that coffee will be free today.

Woot! is smoking a delicious rock if they think you’re going to pay $45 for a 256MB MP3 player, even with an FM transmitter. That’s the sort of thing we expect to see given away for free, even if you can expand its memory with SD cards.

• Ol’ Woot! is trying to push those InFocus 61-inch DLP HDTVs on us one more time, going so far as to add the oh-so-appealing ‘random bag of crap’ along for the $2,505 purchase price. They do say this is the last time they’ll be pitching these, though, thank all that is holy.

$100 off any purchase of $200 or more at Sharper Image. Could expire any second. Now’s the time to stock up on those Jacob’s Ladders, desktop-sized pinball machines and lazy ass robo floor vacs you’ve been saving up for. [via Tech Bargains]

• Amazon has Firefly – The Complete Series DVDs on sale for $20. If you like good TV, you’ll like Firefly. Seriously, we’ve watched the series straight through like three times. [via SlickDeals]

• Today’s Woot! is a Denon S-101 DVD Entertainment System with iPod compatibility for $705, shipped. That’s a good price—they normally go for $900 or more—but we can’t help but think that for most folks, a nice DVD player and a set of surround sound speakers and receiver might be a better value, even without the ability to charge an iPod.
