You Won’t Find The iPhone 7 Plus At Apple Stores Friday

Apple fans who missed out on iPhone 7 pre-orders may be holding out hope that they’ll be able to pick up a new phone at the Apple store tomorrow. But if you were expecting to snag a iPhone 7 Plus — or a jet black iPhone 7 — in the morning, you might come away empty-handed.

Apple announced late Wednesday that  pre-orders for these particular devices ate up the company’s launch-day stock, leaving none for line-waiters, Recode reports.

However, the company says it will have limited quantities of the iPhone 7 in a variety of colors.

Rather than head to the Apple store, people looking for the 7 Plus or the jet black 7 should check with other retailers and their wireless carriers to see what they have in stock.

Additionally, customers can place an order through Apple’s website, and the devices will ship as they become available.

“We sincerely appreciate our customers’ patience as we work hard to get the new iPhone into the hands of everyone who wants one as quickly as possible,” Apple said.
