If you’ve ever found yourself politely asking your driver if he can make an extra stop along your route — “just really quickly, I swear!” — then a new feature from Lyft may be appealing to you.

Riders will be able to add another destination onto their travel itinerary soon, the company announced today.

Don’t get any big ideas about picking up all your friends or visiting multiple wine stores on your way to a party — only one extra stop can be added per ride.

If you decide you don’t need that bottle of wine or your friend, you can always tap on a stop in the app and select “Remove stop.” Then you just have to explain that your pal can find her own darn way to get to the party because you are DONE waiting for her.
