Remember yesterday, when the Microsoft Store’s support page said it no longer accepted Bitcoins as payment for funding accounts? If you were upset, turn that frown upside down, as Microsoft says that support page information was some kind of fluke, glitch, or otherwise unintended mistake.

Bitcoin users will continue to be able to fund their Microsoft Store accounts with the cryptocurrency, allowing them to buy apps and other content, VentureBeat reports.

Yesterday, a message on the site’s support page notified users that change would include “Windows 10 and Windows 10 mobile”:

The company issued a statement to VentureBeat, without explaining exactly what happened, apologizing for “inaccurate information.”

“We continue to support Bitcoin for adding money to your Microsoft Account which can be used for purchasing content in the Windows and Xbox stores,” a Microsoft spokesperson told VentureBeat. “We apologize for inaccurate information that was inadvertently posted to a Microsoft site, which is currently being corrected.”
