If You’ve Been Waiting To Stream ‘Street Fighter’ On Netflix, You Better Do It Before January 1

Say it ain't so.

Say it ain’t so.

Sometimes it seems to go that you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone. And by then it’s too late and you’re smacking yourself in the head for putting off that Killer Klowns From Outer Space theme party because it’s no longer streaming on Netflix and there’s no Blockbuster around so you’re out of luck. That and a whole slew of other movies will be unstreamable in the New Year.

The always resourceful beings on Reddit have a list of both movie and TV show titles that are set to disappear from Netflix’s streaming offerings, mostly on January 1, 2014.

A few will stick around until January 4 like Alice in Wonderland and Immortals, but Mr Bean, Kids in the Hall, Being John Malkovich, Braveheart, Half Baked, Titanic (you’re not supposed to ever let go, Jack) the aforementioned Killer Klowns, Street Fighter and many, many others will go poof when the ball drops.

A Netflix representative tells CNET that this sort of thing is normal for the company, as it adds and deletes titles from the streaming offerings depending on licensing contracts for those titles.

I never thought I’d have to say goodbye to the Seed of Chucky. I know what my big NYE plans are now, folks. Don’t bother me until Wednesday.
