Starbucks Testing Two New Seasonal Coffee-Flavored Sugar Bombs

Not satisfied with the current assortment of holiday beverages at your local Starbucks? You’re in luck, maybe. The chain is testing two new flavors of their traditional seasonal sugar bombs in different markets.

In test stores, the new beverage appears on the menu in place of either the Gingerbread or Eggnog Latte. Neither of the new beverages is as explicitly holiday-themed as those drinks, which is good if you’re feeling Grinchy, but not too Grinchy to drink out of a red holiday-themed cup.

Indianapolis, Wichita, and Baltimore get to try a Chestnut Praline Latte, which is a latte with chestnut praline syrup and little praline pieces on top of the whipped cream. In Orlando and Tampa, Florida, they’re testing a Cherries Jubilee Mocha. That’s just a regular mocha with a dash of cherry syrup.

If people like ’em, they might appear on menus nationwide next winter.
