Work For A Bank? We May Want To Talk To You

From tellers to branch managers to senior executives, we know — because you’ve told us — that a number of Consumerist readers work at (or have worked at) banks. So for a little story we’re working on, we’d like to find a handful of people willing to speak with us about their experiences and insights.

We’re looking to ask a few questions of people who represent a wide spectrum of the bank biz. Our focus is on the shifting role of the individual customer in relationship to their financial institution. None of the questions would violate any confidences or expose trade secrets, and no names of individuals or institutions will be published.

If you’re interested, shoot us an e-mail at tips@consumerist.com with the subject line “BANK2011.” If you could please indicate what kind of bank (i.e., a major national bank, credit union, independent bank, etc.) and what job or jobs you’ve done during your time in the banking business. If selected, we’ll send you an e-mail with a few questions to mull over and respond to.
