Should You Go To A Restaurant For Thanksgiving?

If you’ve decided to ditch the turkey fryer and go to a restaurant for your Thanksgiving meal, you’re not alone. According to a new survey, 14 million Americans will eat out on Thanksgiving this year.

The survey, from the National Restaurant Association, also found that another 16 million consumers will pick up takeout food to bring to their family’s dinner. Over 30% of the restaurant-goers said they wanted to skip cooking and cleaning, 15% said they prefer restaurants for special occasions, and 5% didn’t know why they were going to a restaurant.

Are you ready to join them (even if you don’t know why), or are you even now stockpiling pumpkin pie filling or packing for the annual trip to the in-laws?
