Peel A Head Of Garlic In 10 Seconds

Peeling garlic can be a pain in the tuchus but here’s a method for peeling a whole head of garlic in less than 10 seconds. Really!

This is amazing. Todd Coleman, Saveur’s executive food editor, shows you how.

Just take a head of garlic, smash it with the heel of your hand, and scrape everything into a bowl. Put another bowl on top, give it a vigorous shaking, and uncover. Voila! All the garlic pieces are now perfectly peeled.

Online comments suggests the metal bowls in the video aren’t required to make the technique work, but they do sound cool.
