Report: iPhone 5 Has Gone Into Production
If the iPhone 5 is indeed, as rumored, going to launch early next month, it makes sense that Apple’s contractors are hard at work putting the products together. A report says that Chinese manufacturers Foxconn and Pegatron are doing just that.
Macotakara reports the phones are being stocked without packaging because they’ll need to be installed with the as-yet unfinished operating system fort the devices, iOS 5.0.
Going by Apple’s previous annual iPhone release schedule, the iPhone 5 is a bit late, with previous models having been released in June or July.
