Sprint Customers Have Trouble Receiving Texts From Outside Network

Sprint customers are lucky dogs indeed. Because the company confirmed that there’s a problem with Sprint customers receiving text messages from out-of-network phones, customers now have an alibi to ignore unwanted messages without seeming like jerks.

Wired reports complaints have been pouring in since late last month about messages showing up hours or days late, and sometimes not at all.

Says Sprint in a statement:

“We are aware of a text-messaging issue that is impacting a small percentage of incoming text messages. We are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.”

If you’re a Sprint customer, have you suffered this problem? And how have you managed to use it to your advantage?
