Former Employee Sues ShamWow Guy, Alleging He Wanted Her To Be "Love Slave"

A woman who used to work for Vince Shlomi, the pitchman made famous in ads for the ShamWow and the SlapChop, has sued him, accusing him of civil battery and causing emotional distress, claiming he wanted her as his “love slave.”

According to The Smoking Gun‘s report on the complaint filed in U.S. District Court, Shlomi allegedly offered to pay the woman $20,000 for her eggs and to sleep with him.

The former employer started off as a customer service rep in 2009 before becoming the pitchman’s personal assistant. She took on roles of grocery shopping, house cleaning and escorted him to parties and events. She rebuffed his romantic advances, suffering name calling when she refused to give him the “secret formula” that would cause her to like him romantically. She says she was fired after nine months by her jealous boss after refusing to show him a text message he believed was sent by another man.

From TSG:

[The plaintiff] also charges that Shlomi stalked her ex-boyfriend, used binoculars to watch her while she was on a Florida beach, and, when she sought to visit a relative stricken with cancer, he told her, “Why don’t you just see him when he’s in the grave.”

Shlomi’s lawyer told The Smoking Gun “We’ll have no comment at this moment.”

You may remember that Shlomi was arrested two years ago following an altercation with a prostitute that landed him in the hospital with a bitten tongue.

And just because we now can’t get it out of our heads, here’s DJ Steve Porter’s remix of Vince’s SlapChop spot:
