Worst Company In America Round One: Walmart Vs. GameStop

It’s a retail riot in this afternoon’s WCIA session, with two perennial tournament qualifiers trying to prove they belong here.

The first always-a-bridesmaid in this match-up is Walmart. The big boy from Bentonville might as well just be handed a spot in the bracket each year, considering how many times the W word is mentioned in readers’ nominations. But year after year, the world’s largest retailer always folds in the later rounds.

And then we have GameStop, another fighter able to draw catcalls from the audience at the mere mention of its name. And yet this scrappy gamer rarely makes it past the first round. Maybe it should spend more time boxing on the Wii?

This poll is now closed. Congratulations Walmart! See you in the next round.
