Adorama does a fantastic job with prints! Also, just for quick reference for everyone, shipping is typically a one time deal with them, so if you order 10 16x20s, it’ll just be the one $6 shipping charge if the order is heading to the same address. Unless they’ve changed in the last few months…

My First Kenmore? Interesting concept. The problem with it is that there are about 20 – 25 years between the time a kid plays with his/her First Kenmore, and the time he/she is ready to buy a real Kenmore.

Based on that, I don’t think it will have quite the same success as “My First Sony”

    • TheBovaEffect says:

@rpm773: I dont know about that… I had a power wheels Jeep when I was a kid, and to this day I have a pressing desire to own a real jeep.

      • rpm773 says:

@TheBovaEffect: I think that’s valid. But I think that’s because Jeep has stronger brand recognition than a set of pots and pans or an oven.

There’s only one Jeep, right? :)

      • Hank Scorpio says:

@TheBovaEffect: I know what you mean. I had the entire Cobra Command when I was a kid, and now I have the uncontrollable desire to take over the world.

re: Adorama, you should also know that when someone sets up a new account with AdoramaPix (which is FREE!) they get 25 free prints. Many people use these free 4x6s to order some prints on all the different paper types. Adorama usually recommends that you print something that you have already seen in print, that way you can compare. The only paper type not available in a 4×6 size is the Silk, but if you’d like to email me with your mailing address, I can pass it along and see that you get some samples.

    Hope this is helpful!

I love the Jamba Juice Oatmeal! And I love it even more for a dollar.

PS. Incase anyone still isn’t sure.. this oatmeal is not instant oatmeal like at Starbucks.. They cook steel cut oats in a slow cooker, the kind where if you made it at home it would take atleast 30 minutes on the stove… it’s really good.

  5. JohnDeere says:

evidently external hdd and portable hdd are not accessories at dell.

  6. Joewithay says:

@Kimaroo: You forgot to use, “I’d Buy that for a Dollar!” line from Robocop

  7. Zlund says:

That oatmeal from Jamba juice is DISGUSTING!!! When I went it was cooking in a croc pot, next to that was a warming station where they keep the frozen fruit they are warming up to put on it. The ‘brown sugar crumble’ is just brown sugar they give you about a teaspoon of and its hard as a rock. The utensils they use to serve it sit in murky water.

A dollar is TOO MUCH for that.

    • Single-n-Bitter_GitEmSteveDave says:

@Zlund: So wait. The brown sugar crumble consists of crumbled hardened brown sugar? That’s the most blatant case of false advertising since Hutz v. NeverEnding Story, Et. Al.

  8. Kimaroo - 100% Pure Natural Kitteh says:

@Zlund That kind of thing probably varies from store to store… When I had it it was really nice and nothing about that store was dirty or anything.

The brown sugar crumble I had wasn’t just hard brown sugar either.. I think it had some kind of nuts or something in it.. I’m not sure but it tasted good.

  9. Zlund says:

@Single-n-Bitter_GitEmSteveDave Nice Simpson’s reference. You understand how disgusting hard brown sugar is.

    • Single-n-Bitter_GitEmSteveDave says:

@Zlund: In warm oatmeal, it’s amazing. Even better if it’s Piloncillo, or some equivalent.

      • Zlund says:

@Single-n-Bitter_GitEmSteveDave: But that stuff doesn’t melt!! You just get chunky hard bits of brown sugar! Fresh brown sugar, soft and fluffy that melts in hot oatmeal – that is the stuff dreams are made of. But what they sold me at Jamba Juice looked like it was the dregs from an old bag!

  11. Yoko Broke Up The Beatles says:

I’m torn. On one hand, I like deals. On the other hand, I don’t really want to shop at and I’m way too lazy to shop around. What to do?

    • Porntipsguzzardo_GitEmSteveDave says:

@Yoko Broke Up The Beatles: Don’t shop there if you don’t want to. If your experiences with them have been bad, then just b/c someone suggests them, don’t take the suggestion. People always offered me Fruit Roll-ups, but the one time I ate them, I got very ill, and never ate them again.
