    I have a couple of those helicopters but I bought them from Woot and the brand name is different. I’ve seen at least 5 companies sell the exact one shown in the picture. I wonder why only one of them is recalling it.

    The article is right too. Those little batteries get really hot.

    @Dibbler: Yep, I’ve played with one and the controller actually caught on fire while it was charging. I don’t think they were the same brand, either (though I’m positive they were made by the same shoddy Chinese factory since they look exactly the same except for the coloring). Too bad they’re such crap…they’re fun toys.

    Maybe I’m just a Florida rube that has always had a electric dryer, but how would it shock you?

    @Lo-Pan: Gas dryers are still plugged in. They need power to run the motor that turns the drum and run the timer and run the igniter and… They just don’t need power to run the heating element.
