Resolving The Insurance Woes Of Optimus Prime

This “LETTER TO OPTIMUS PRIME FROM HIS GEICO AUTO INSURANCE AGENT” from McSweeney’s strikes an all-to-familiar note. Poor Optimus.

He’ll want to file a complaint with the Washington Insurance Commissioner. If you find yourself in a similar situation—just search for your state’s Department of Insurance, and complain away.

That was awesome. Oh, and Thrust, do we really need super-serious news all the time? Something like this is nice once in a while.

  7. Thrust says:

@Moosehawk: That WAS a sense of humor. I was posting a humorous comment in a sarcastic manner. And photoshop competitions rule.

  8. Thrust says:

Oh, and interesting sidenote, Consumerist is becoming a better Fark than Fark. That whole new coke can thing only just hit fark late this afternoon, and anything crappy-airlines related tends to show up here at least two days earlier.

Though consumerist DID just miss the biggest issue today… “Calif. Lawmaker Proposes Pornography Tax”

  9. Moosehawk says:

@Thrust: It’s hard to read emotion/sarcasm over the internet by the way.

  10. Thrust says:

@Moosehawk: Sarcasm yes, emotion? I thought thats what capslock was for :p

  11. kcskater says:

Photochop. Optimus doesn’t need insurance because he’s got Ratchet.

  12. @Thrust: Pornography tax? Seriously? The government wants to make money off of porn?!?!

  13. Thrust says:

@Rectilinear Propagation: Yep. And purely as a cash-grab, they admit it.

  14. synergy says:

Now why would the government actively tax themselves?
