“Two people came to my door just now and tried to sign me up for IDT Energy. A husky black man named Jean Hyppolite and a short black woman whose name I didn’t notice, both carrying binders. I live in a heavily Hispanic part of Williamsburg (near Hewes JMZ) and I’m sure they’re out scamming non-english speakers.”

Beware of variable energy rates, hipsters. Of course, you don’t really need to sign these contracts anyway. Your lightbulbs and heaters are powered by irony and wonderfulness of expression. — BEN POPKEN
