Dell Curse-Laden Answering Machine Message

Dell called a customer to arrange a tech support call and after leaving a message, forgets to hang up. Minor hilarity ensues as the customer service rep experiences a tech problem of her own…

    I love telling this story (probably already said it on here though, but I don’t care). Collections agency calls work for a work account, guy wouldn’t verify anything about the account being ours, kept asking for a SSN which wouldn’t be attached. I was being a little aggressive because I hate these calls and finally end the call. Before the guy hangs up, he calls me a dick. Never heard back from them after that.

    However, if you have to own a PC, as crappy as the company might be, I still think they make the best PC out there. (Cold comfort as that may be – kinda like being the best looking waitress at Waffle House or IHOP.)

    Had to wipe a tear from my eye. So proud of the $$$ Dell’s been spending to improve their customer service. Only months ago, the profanity, open hand slaps and heated utterances would have been directed AT the customer. Now it’s directed at Dell’s POS computers instead.
    See? We’re all brothers now!
